The campsite is situated between Promontogno and Bondo, by the side of the Bondasca Stream which divides the two villages. The camping area consists of a larch wood and a terraced meadow, where there is room for about 50 tents or motor caravans. The campers can freely choose where to set up camp. The lighting of fires is allowed, but in the case of exceptionally dry weather the use of the special hearthstones is recommended. Firewood is freely available. Connection to the electrical supply is possible. Only a few minutes away by foot are the two villages where you can find a post office and the bus-stop, two food shops and a hotel and guest house each with their own restaurants. Right at the entrance to the campsite is a small shop, the Centrale Latte, selling fresh milk and cheese and nearby the Crotto, an open-air tavern overlooked by horse chestnut trees which has a bowling ground next to it.
