The village of Bondo, at the foot of Mount Badile, began to acquire a certain reputation for its Alpine environment as early as the 1890’s. The campsite in Bondo is the ideal place to strart a climbing excursion, whether it be for relaxation or for something more demanding. It is also possible to reach all the other villages of the valley floor by following dirt tracks and pathways with varying degrees of difficulty. The panoramic track that winds from Casaccia to Soglio, is on the south face of the mountainside. During the summer season, concerts are held in the various churches of the valley, playing mainly classical, baroque and romantic music. Important historical sites and museums also provide interesting attractions. The staff at the campsite are always available to offer ulterior information regarding their region.
